In view of the trials and tribulations we endured in 2009 we thought we would have some fun in 2010. That is why we have come up the fun fun sandwich. Two fun events sandwiched between ultra marathon challenges.
Ultra 1. April - Great Glen Death March - from the west coast to the east coast of Scotland.
Fun Run 1. April - The Southampton Celebrity Sun Walk. A 10k powerwalk to raise money for breast cancer charities. Participants have to wear decorated bras. Even the men.
Fun Run 2. May - The Nuns Run. A short run along beside the Thames near Tower Bridge. In aid of Dr Barnados and in conjunction with the Musical Sister's Act Participants dress as nuns for this event.
Ultra 2. November - Coast to Coast - from the west coast to the east coast of England.
We will of course be raising money for Comrades of Children Overseas (COCO) so expect to be asked for a donation.
